Tradition Meets Modernity in Täsch

In December 2024, the Schaller and Aufdenblatten families opened the 4-star Hotel Porta Cervino in Täsch—offering luxurious comfort and a relaxed, unpretentious atmosphere, just 350 meters from the train station.

Our Values

Our vision

The Porta Cervino is part of the Aufdenblatten Collection —a family of hosts with deep ties to Täsch and Zermatt. At this 4-star hotel, located just 350 meters from the Täsch train station, Valais hospitality is at its most unpretentious: personal, warm, and modern. A place with regional roots where you’ll feel welcome from the very first moment.

Our History

First, there was the parking lot

Since the early 1970s, the journey to Zermatt has begun at Parking Schaller in Täsch. In 2024, the 4-star Hotel Porta Cervino was built directly above it. The Schaller family leases the hotel and the parking lot, while the Aufdenblatten Collection operates both—a partnership between two families who are friends, united by genuine Valais hospitality.

So Much YES!

Behind this is a team that works with heart and passion. Shared values and a unified organization make us a strong family of hosts.

Collaborations

Local Partnerships

The Porta Cervino collaborates with select partners from the worlds of culture, sports, and fine dining. This collaboration creates unique experiences in Täsch and Zermatt, grounded in shared values, high quality, and genuine hospitality.

Well-thought-out functionality, alpine style. In Montbell, we have a partner that produces clothing meeting the highest standards of comfort, quality, and design. This aligns with our vision of hospitality in the Swiss Alps—from the first day on the mountain to the evening at the hotel.

Electronic music, contemporary art, and the mountain scenery surrounding the Matterhorn. As a partner of Magic Mountain Zermatt, we support a boutique festival that brings these three worlds together. From the Porta Cervino in Täsch, a shuttle train will take you right into the heart of the festival in just a few minutes.
