HORNOX

From Porta Cervino, it’s a four-minute walk to the Täsch train station and a twelve-minute ride to Zermatt. There, at the HORNOX in the Alpen Resort & Spa, a wood fire burns, over which meat, fish, and vegan dishes are prepared.

The wood-fired grill features tomahawk steaks, fresh fish, and even vegan cauliflower. There’s a special grill menu and a playroom for kids, and a carefully curated wine selection for adults. It’s best to make a reservation in advance if you’d like to spend the evening in Zermatt after a day of skiing.
